Business Development Associate / Sales Lead

Schoolcraft Digital is a K-12 Independent School digital marketing firm looking for a Business Development Associate. This position will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day lead generation for our firm. Performing ongoing outreach to contacts at a variety of K-12 independent day and boarding schools that would benefit from our digital marketing services. Your daily duties will include contacting new prospects and following-up with existing prospects. Scheduling consultation calls between prospective clients and our senior management for them to close the sale. As a sales position, you will work with management to define and reach sales revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 1 years prior experience in the sales of digital media advertising or platform solutions.

This is a full-time remote position; however you must reside within the United States, east coast preferred.

Primary Responsibilities, Duties and Qualifications:

  • Outbound prospecting by phone, email and other methods
  • Sales experience. Closer with a proven track record in lead generation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; developing rapport quickly and building trust
  • Comfortable with calling individuals who have not shown previous interest in our service
  • Comfortable with using Microsoft Office and other standard office/remote applications (i.e Slack, Zoom, etc)

 

The following experience would be beneficial, but not required:

  • Familiarity with Independent/Private K-12 schools 
  • Familiarity with school admissions cycles and processes
  • Familiar with Salesforce and/or HubSpot
  • Advanced Skills with Excel
  • Spanish language fluency is a plus

Work Environment:

The position is remote, it will require some needs unique to remote employment including but not limited to:

  • Access to high-speed internet, a cell phone that can support the company’s apps, and a computer (can be desktop).
  • Follow best practices for virtual meetings or calls, both for internal and client meetings. 
  • Self-disciplined and task-oriented with a strong sense of self accountability.
  • Some travel may be required for company retreats or conferences. (10%).

 

Compensation:

This position is full-time with a base annual salary at $41,600 with an uncapped commission structure.
